FAQ
Questions before you buy
Do I need a Google account?
Yes, a free one. After checkout you get a "Make a copy" link that saves your own editable copy of the tracker into your Google Drive. If you don't have a Google account, you can create one free at accounts.google.com with any email address.
Can I use it in Excel?
Yes. Open your Google Sheets copy and choose File, Download, Microsoft Excel (.xlsx). The formulas use standard functions (SUMIFS, COUNTIF, INDEX/MATCH), so it works in both.
Does it work on my phone?
You can view and update it in the free Google Sheets app. Setup and printing invoices are easier on a computer.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay $13 once and your copy is yours.
How much can it hold?
About 200 jobs, 200 cost entries and 200 payments out of the box. You can add rows to extend it.
How do I get rid of the sample jobs?
The Start Here tab shows you how to clear the sample rows before you enter your own jobs.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your copy lives in your own Google Drive. We can't see it.
What if it's not for me?
It's a digital download, so there are no refunds, but if your copy is broken we'll fix or replace it. Just email us at runmybizllc@gmail.com.
Is this accounting or tax software?
No. It's a recordkeeping tool for your own business, not tax, legal or accounting advice. Please don't resell or share the file.
